Pros
Not a lot of actual supply chain experience in the management team of Global Supply Chain Operations. They are all transplants from other organizations within ON Semi, basically just completing a "tour of duty" as a favor to executive management. Great opportunity to bring actual supply chain experience to the team, just not in an overly offensive way.
Cons
There is NO chance of lower level sourcing managers to be promoted into senior positions within On semi GSCO. They will burn you out and kick you to the curb, without hesitation. And if they have the opportunity, management will outsource your position to Asia, while you are still in it!
