Pros

Collaborative efforts by key stakeholders to push product is evident. Individuals from other teams try to gather people together to keep company culture uplifted is quite evident. Decent snack kitchen, lunch catered Fridays, standard health benefits.

Cons

Promotion of team building and company bonding times but behind the smoke screen, in some teams, management with extremely low EQ and communication skills exists. Management makes efforts to cover up each other's mistakes but passive agreessive behavior by immature managers or outright hostile emails/communication sent by them and even fellow team members is a norm. Little to no interest in career development of its staff. Just expectations to get the job done. Regular turnover in staff within accounting team because of management.

Pros

Local Company in the Silicon Valley with the office in Newark and Palo Alto.

Cons

Employment scam. Read and analyze everything before you docusign your offer letter. Break down your current pay and see worth the switch. You'll soon realize that Ooma has you running around out into the field with low rewards and no compensation for your work activities. If you are looking to work under the radar, this is your gig. The Base Pay is Good. Highly recommend asking for the comp plan before you even meet with anyone. Do not let Hiring Manager trigger your interest with their offer before any details. They're trained to find good hires for no rewards. If you get an offer letter, re-read this review. Good luck!

Pros

Its good to not be unemployed

Cons

This is a typical experience at ooma, it seems. Low pay, micro management and little to no leadership or career opportunity path. Leadership consistently, time over time, behaves inappropriately. The VP is constantly sharing his left swinging political views in the office. He assumes that others think the same way as him. Its an environment of political intimidation and harrassment. And very low pay.
