Pros

Protected territory since it's a relatively new company.

Cons

Extensive training promises but only had 2 days of it. Then its sink or swim and you nae $20 commission per sale unless you sell 20 per month. Then you make $500 per month.

Pros

Free Food on certain days. Lunch Room was stocked quite nice.

Cons

Rigid Sales Tactics. Over bearing methods of training. Sales Closed only landed 1 time payout, Which isn't very competitive IE : No Resale. They open you up to the idea that you could hit the floor running. The truth is they have a tactics they want you to push IE : They want you to spend alot of time on the receptionist, when its the Owner who makes a closed deal. Which goes against the fundamentals of sales.

Pros

The core product is solid, management have all come from a sales background, the comp plan makes it possible to hit 6 figures with essentially an entry-level cloud services sales position. The company has set up a solid customer service platform, and along with being the top-rated VoIP provider for multiple years in a row, it makes Ooma Office an easier sell than competing telecom services. Good benefits, 401k match, stock options, and more importantly for me was the fact that they are aggressively expanding and new roles are opening up so there is a real possibility for career advancement in a hurry.

Cons

At times it feels like working for a start-up, but one without any debt. So if you don't tolerate changes in your job description well, this might not be the job for you just yet. There have been a number of changes during my tenure, but they were always for the better in my opinion.
