Pros

Amazing talented senior engineers who understand the value of work/life balance, that there is no room for ego, that culture is top priority, and who are willing to take on anything that is required to help advance the company and its goals. Excellent benefits. Top notch leadership who values transparency and culture as a top priority. The domain is exciting and at the cusp of changing the transportation industry -- very exciting!

Cons

Hiring bar is high, which makes it difficult to grow the team; however this has led to hiring some great people that have contributed to maintaining our cultural values.

Pros

- The CEO is amazing. He is extremely well connected with the industry and has a deep understanding of the market - The team is great, both in term of experience (built and shipped successful products at scale) and in actual execution (the products we've built since the inception of the company are impressive) - The culture is great. There is a strong effort to build a diverse and inclusive team. People are friendly, open and highly motivated. - The industry we're in is moving very fast. There are tons of opportunities to build new and innovative products.

Cons

- There can be some cultural differences since some people in the team are veterans from startups and others are veterans of large organizations, but we are well equipped to solve these. - Some teams are understaffed, it needs to be addressed by changing where we are sourcing candidates from. - There are still a lot of uncertainties around the future of the industry.

I love being able to whiteboard ideas and designs with other team members and work on novel algorithms.

Cons

We still need to hammer out our planning process, but this is expected for a small and fast growing company.
