Pros

Base pay + commission for an entry level retail job. Friendly atmosphere Insider information on upcoming products/software if you're into apple/computers, you'll love it here.

Cons

minimum base pay upper level management has been almost completely replaced 2-3 times. no-one in management really knows what they're doing this company will probably die very soon.

Pros

There is nothing positive that one can say about this company in its current state. It was an amazing company in 2013 and before.

Cons

You will never get paid your commission. You will be over worked. This company violates almost every point of the FLSA Working hard and being productive does nothing to further your career. You could run the best trending store in the company for months on end, but it is corporate leadership's friends that will get promoted. Internal growth is impossible. If you disagree in the slightest with a call made by corporate leadership, get ready to be fired. There is no room for questions in the company. This company pays less than half of what it's competitors and partner companies pay, but you will be asked to do much more.

Pros

I made some great friends here, friends that I will carry with me through my life (Hamdi Lachaal, Carllisa Green, Michael Steffan who currently work there and nearly everyone who worked in the store previously). I have also made customers who come in super unhappy, very happy. I have changed peoples moods by helping them and finding their needs. I have been gained experience in what its like to be a manager.

Cons

Let's see where do I begin...🤔 🗑Management The management is HORRIBLE! The managers here will choose a fresh face over a good hard experienced worker. They nitpick and switch up their routines, rules, and payouts nearly every year, every visit to your store, and in every conversation. No one in management wants to own up to their mistakes and will do everything to avoid admitting to a mistake, even up changing rules and procedures to mask those mistakes. It really is sickening and super unprofessional. I have even had times when a manager would purposely ignore me (answering a question that I asked them through someone else or plain and outright skipping over my message and addressing all other messages in a group text, the list goes on 🙄). More so, there is extreme favoritism. I don't know if it is a matter or race, gender or even personality, but there is definitely preferential treatment and attention that gets passed on to those who seem to just obey, obey, obey and NOT ask any questions. Often times, i would be ignored for asking a question and then be asked why I don't "do my job". How can I if my questions about it have not been answered?! Oh yeah, you can be written up for something you were never formally taught. 😉Make sure you're careful about that if you plan on working for the company! 💸PayOut The payout is TRASH. You'll be working harder than you should, with over 4 different systems (AT&T, Apple's Repair Site, and others) and you must be great at all of them, but STILL be paid a little more than minimum wage if you're a specialist. AND your pay could be changed year after year. Granted it did seems to be great at first but then you get to the fine print and suddenly it aint all that good. ⚖Meetings and Training There are weekly trainings and, thanks to the current manager of the store, Punishment Meetings. These meetings were introduced when some of the staff hadn't completed their trainings and s/he decided that it would be disciplinarily acceptable to treat the staff like errant children and bring them in on Sunday to have a meeting to prove that having meeting is not necessary. 😬 I could go on and on about the small annoying things that I have witnessed there but I will politely say instead to be wary of this company. Hell, I think this store probably has less than 5 years. But if I'm wrong and it does change for the better, at least now they know how trash they were beforehand. "The trenches...😉" ☞Promotions You can only get promoted, LITERALLY, if someone is fired or quits their job. Yeah,. I meant that.
