despite some layoffs this company has been able to weather the storm of a very difficult time in the industry. great colleagues

like any start up there can be some instability but that is to be expected. could be better organized

Great company that went public too soon and lost its way

Pros

-Interesting industry to join -Professional growth potential, good experience -Unlimited PTO (actually unlimited and encouraged to use it) -Remote/hybrid flexibility -Excellent benefits (high 401k match and employer insurance contribution) -Good pay (however, commission-slashing in last 8 months has severely hurt income potential at this company; only marginal raises at 1yr mark) -Everyone had their own style of completing the job which added learning opportunities -Diverse and welcoming coworkers who I will be staying in touch with after I leave

Cons

-Hard to get time with management -Very little transparency from upper management -Frequent systemic changes to commission, operations, and other processes making it hard to consistently understand priorities and goals -Inconsistent commission structures (they changed it every quarter and didn’t tell us the new guidelines until halfway through each quarter. No employee facing tracking mechanism meant we had to trust their calculations and/or take excellent notes -Industry challenges and regulation-motivated changes constantly made the job more difficult
