Pros

great culture, great mission, great people. for the most part my fellow employees are good to work with. the leaders of the company seem to really care about the employees.

Cons

focused on new stores, ignoring the older stores. all of the excitement in the company is on the new areas like new york and boston.

Pros

Great culture. Reviews every six months. Competitive pay (for managers and associates). Great bonus structure - based on personal and professional goals. Flexible work hours - write your own schedule. Support from upper management. Opportunities for growth. Good benefits. Accessibility to owners and corporate staff. Yearly company retreat. Truly focused on creating experiences for people - food, music, etc. Cool sweetgreen swag and gifts. Healthy, delicious food. Amazing, passionate people.

Cons

Still a new company, so some things are still a work in progress (training programs, maternity leave, 401k, etc). As the company grows and people's responsibilities change, there is some confusion with the reporting hierarchy. Currently, no vacation options for hourly employees. Promotions from within happen, but slowly.

Pros

Free healthy food during your shift.

Cons

Where should I start, this was hands down the worst hospitality job in my 12yr career. No care for work life balance, poor benefits and expect to be understaffed constantly and working 70-80 hrs a week. When you say you are being over worked you management and request assistance I was told “welcome to being a head coach, figure it out”!?! I’m sorry what! How do you expect me to hire and train when I’m stuck working hourly positions just trying to make ends meet. I then requested a two week UNPAID leave to take care of my mental health because I was on a brink of a break down only to be told no it’s not allowed! That was the moment I quit, when a company that screams how caring they are won’t even allow you time off….
