-Students were generally fun to work with -Nice and collaborative coworkers -Develop your own curriculum

Cons

-Non-existent training, shadowed only 1 or 2 sessions before being given your own students -High expectations to put in extra work outside of hours with no compensation -No guidance as to what to teach students, can be given students who want to learn a language you are unable to teach -Values parents' times over coaches' time -Basically on-call and can be asked to come in even on a day that you marked unavailable

Flexible hours, very entry level job, good experience as first time workers

Cons

Hard to get student sessions, no pay for prep time, low pay rate, stressful management. Things might be better now, but during the height of the pandemic, the turnover rate was very high and it felt like manager put the stress of the pandemic on the employees
