Pros

-Get to work on lots of cool tech and learn a lot -Hour long breaks -Good corporation that mostly does things the right way

Cons

-Bad pay, all employees deserve more money for doing this job. It's ridiculous that Panda Express employees basically make the same hourly wage. Even manager only gets 40k a year, same as managing way easier environments. The only way to get the money you deserve is to be an owner. -Getting blamed for things completely out of your control (by customers and management) -Getting blamed for things on par or not as bad as mistakes manager makes himself -Don't even have the tools needed to do work, especially computers, manager seems to think it's fine when employees take 10x longer to do a simple task because they have to use a junk computer. I can't stress enough how retarded this is: A store that REPAIRS COMPUTERS doesn't have decent enough computers for their employees to efficiently get work done. Employees giving up with store computers and using their own personal phone/tablet/computer is a regular occurrence. As far as other tools go it's a total mess with everyone stealing other people's tools as they need to and some tools completely disappearing. This could easily be fixed by giving everyone a box of tools that are only for them, but for some reason the manager explicitly came out AGAINST doing this (we're talking $30 tops for tools needed per person)

-Wide range of repairs to keep things interesting -You can learn alot about electronics -Growing Company -Smart Coworkers -Decent company culture -Decent POS

Cons

-Skilled labor with pay comparable to McDonalds -Extremely stressful when things break or parts are defective -Fast growth undercuts franchisees by stores opening up in your turf -You get scolded for things out of your control -Benefits essentially nonexistent unless you can make management, company healthcare is out of technician paygrade.
