ACG has recently been recognized as one of the 2023 Best Companies for Workplace Inclusion by Seramount, a strategic professional services firm dedicated to supporting high-performing, inclusive workplaces. ACG was honored for its best practices in recruiting, retaining, and advancing people from underrepresented groups – women, racial/ethnic groups, people with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ people; inclusive company culture; and demographic diversity. "I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the employee workforce of The Auto Club Group for the ongoing dedication to our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion vision, and mission. Together, we've worked to achieve this distinguished honor," said Ken Mathies, Vice President, Chief Diversity Officer. This year, 155 organizations participated in Seramount's 2023 Inclusion Index. ACG was among the 42 organizations to receive a 60 percent or higher score for creating an inclusive workplace.
Thanks to the enthusiasm, generosity and giving spirit of the OneACG family, ACG took the top fundraising honor in its corporate sponsor category at the 35th annual UNCF Detroit Walk for Education for the eighth consecutive year! As of the end of September, ACG raised a total of $22,221, surpassing last year's company total by almost $1,000.
ACG celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month for the month of May!
This annual event is a celebration of family, fitness, and financial independence. More than 60% of Dress for Success clients are single mothers, yet they power through obstacles, overcome extraordinary challenges and redefine possibilities for themselves and their families. In 2010 Dress for Success launched a highly successful health and wellness initiative with the Professional Women’s Group, which fortified the link between personal health and professional success. Today, our women recognize that in order to achieve total self-sufficiency, they must make healthy choices in all aspects of work and life. The Power Walk for Dress for Success serves as both a catalyst for, and a celebration of, those choices. Women from all over the world come together for this fun, festive and family-oriented fitness event.
