ACI Kazan whisks up a sweet teambuilding event In February, ACIers in Kazan, Russia, took a break from developing code to try their hand at developing the best ice cream recipe. Aided by a local chef, ACIers were invited to work in small teams to whisk together ingredients, chop strawberries, apples, and bananas—which were stewed in cognac, sugar, and cinnamon to make a compote topping. Once when all the ingredients were prepared, the chef finished making the vanilla ice cream by quickly freezing it with liquid nitrogen, which produced a large cloud of cold steam that enveloped the entire table. ACIers then grabbed a few scoops, and everyone was invited to add their favorite toppings—the fruit compote, chocolate, maple syrup, whipped cream, and colored sprinkles.
