Action Behavior Centers - ABA Therapy for Autism is THRILLED to announce the very first event of it's kind... ABCaba! š In coordination with the Global Autism Project, our clinicians and special guests will head to Austin, Texas on May 3rd & 4th. Our impressive lineup of keynote speakers include Dr. Bridgette Taylor, Dr. Nasiah Cirincione-Ulezi, Dr. Shahla Alai-Rosales, Dr. Linda LeBlanc, Dr. Patrick Friman, Dr. Gregory Hanley, and Dr. Mark Dixon - alongside Dr. Amy Cudy, author of the NY Times bestseller "Presence" & Dr. Angela Duckworth, author of the NY Times bestseller "Grit"! Spreading ripples the ABC way, all proceeds will be donated to The Global Autism Project to expand ABA services in underserved communities around the world. The conference will also include an in-person community service event and a special night of honor to honor those mentors/mentees who have shaped a BCBA's future. Each of our extraordinary clinicians have an opportunity to invite one additional clinical mentor or mentee.
Action Week 2023 has kicked off this week in our Dallas/Fort Worth region! š„š¢ This year's theme is "Deeply Rooted" in our Core Values: Caring (Well-Being), Learning (Development), Fun (Culture), Team (Connection), and Excellence (Purpose). š± Leaders are making their rounds to centers across the area, spending valuable time creating lifelong memories, sharing laughs, and giving back to our teammates. Monday began with our traditional pom-pom welcome, followed by relaxing time in our community zen dens, leadership acts of service, and gratitude bingo. Tuesday we shared life hacks/fun facts, read together, and ended the day with a belonging potluck where teammates shared a dish that was meaningful to them. Today, we dove even deeper with our Team Action cheers, Dynamic Duo costumes, and fun celebrations with Flat Charna. Although the week has already been full of engaging activities, we're just getting started!
