Colleagues from A&M’s Compensation and Benefits, Corporate Performance Improvement, and Global Transaction Advisory Groups in Denver recently joined forces for a giving-back initiative at a local food bank. Thanks to their combined efforts, more than 20,000 meals were prepared, providing nutritious food to individuals facing food insecurity across Colorado and Wyoming!

A&M Brazil recognized Breast Cancer Awareness Month by collaborating with a local NGO to support patients undergoing breast cancer treatment, with initiatives across the Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Belo Horizonte offices. In São Paulo, the NGO brought a guest speaker to the A&M office to talk about preventive care, along with a professional hairstylist to cut small locks of hair from female employees. They collected 30 headscarves and 158 locks of hair, which will be used to create natural wigs for patients treated by the organization.

Interns from the A&M Tax team recently delivered activity bags to patients at a local children's hospital in Washington, D.C. to bring them joy and comfort while they battle life-threatening illnesses. They assembled 500 activity bags with coloring books, crayons, stickers, fidget toys and cheerful notes!

The new hires of A&M's North American Commercial Restructuring team gathered in Dallas for their orientation, where they assembled supplies to support local schools at the start of the academic year. The team packed 200 pencil pouches filled with school essentials such as pencils, pens, and highlighters.

The event showcased prospective job seekers, professional development sessions, and numerous networking opportunities. The A&M team also enjoyed team-building activities, a delectable dinner, and a range of festive extracurricular events!

Richard, the first Asian American male to anchor a daily national cable news show at CNN, shared his insights on inclusive leadership and the power of storytelling. His work advocates for AAPI representation, addresses anti-Asian hate, and promotes civil rights and education. After recording the fireside chat in the NYC office, the ERG hosted a book signing for his work, "Enough About Me: The Unexpected Power of Selflessness," followed by a dinner to encourage further thought-provoking discussions. The following week, AAPI organized virtual and in-office watch parties across our USA offices. This event was the perfect culmination of our month’s theme of Inclusive Leadership and Leading with our Head, Heart, and Hands.
