Sending out a huge CONGRATULATIONS to our employees who have recently passed their professional licensing exams! This is an immense achievement for these individuals and a big step in their careers. Great job, everyone! We are excited to see what you accomplish in 2021 and beyond!

Although we couldn't have our annual company holiday party downtown with all of our staff around the country, we were able to pivot to have a virtual party via Zoom in which one of our own employees provided DJ services! Throughout the night staff continually posted photo updates on our Photo Circle app and we also had a drawing for 20+ gifts, including an 85 inch TV as the grand prize. The company gave each staff member a $100 bill to go towards food and drink of their choice to enjoy during the live stream with their family. It will never take the place of being physically together but was a good safe alternative choice for 2020!

Congrats to the Bridge Group (Mario Kart costumes) and the Environmental Group (Dodgeball costumes) on tying for the first place group winner and to Ted Bleicher (Zoom meeting) for being name the winner for individual costumes. Great job to all who participated and helped make Halloween (COVID-19 style) so fun!

Dream Alive took things one step further and coordinated an additional experience where we were able to chat with nearly 100 students via a live Q&A session about various careers at American Structurepoint including architecture, survey, roadway engineering, business development, and bridge engineering. We had a great time educating students on potential career paths! Thank you to all who participated in this new virtual format!

Tanner discussed his background, specific projects he has worked on, and provided an overview of what civil engineers do. He spent the remainder of the call fielding questions from students about the Purdue Civil Program, how roads are funded, and design aspects for different roadways such as roundabouts or interchanges. Way to go, everyone!
