GreatCall recently purchased Critical Signal Technologies (CST), a health services company based in Novi, Michigan. CST provides remote monitoring for seniors, Personal Emergency Response System (PERS), an on-call concierge service, wellness coaching, hospital re-admission management solutions, chronic disease management services and social work. They have a capability we wanted and would have otherwise needed to build. The company also has about 100,000 subscribers, some of whom are Medicare Advantage customers who have their CST services covered by the Medicare Advantage plan.
