January marks National Mental Wellness Month - the perfect way to start out the year after the pressure and fast pace of the holidays. The Global Wellness Institute explains mental wellness as a "resource to help you think, feel, connect and function." They recommend simply doing things that make you happy and feel good as a way to support your mental wellness, which can also help mitigate mental illness. Support your mental wellness this month and remember to make time to do something you enjoy!
As we emerge from the hectic holiday season and head into 2024, we wanted to share a few ways to help prioritize your mental health and wellbeing in the new year. 1. Prioritize self-care. Getting enough sleep, finding time to read or listen to music, and moving your body can do wonders for your physical and mental health. 2. Connect with others. At CSG, we're all about community, because we know that having a support system and uplifting others is one of the most important ways to live life to the fullest. 3. Focus on progress. Embrace challenges and celebrate the victories along the way - both big and small. And be kind to yourself!
