The Cook Children's - Prosper Gastroenterology team recently took one for the team – literally! – in our "Pie-A-Doc" event on April 17. Employees generously donated to receive a pie that they could splat onto our incredible physicians, all in support of the amazing Crohn's & Colitis Foundation. The team successfully donated around $2,000 to the foundation.
“It’s more than a health plan,” is what families say about Cook Children’s Health Plan. Unfortunately, after the Texas Health and Human Services Commission announced changes to the STAR/CHIP managed care program, these families’ care is now at risk. If these new contracts go into effect, families enrolled in our program will have to choose a new plan from four national, for-profit companies. Hear from these families firsthand as they share what this plan means to them.

Alyson Collins-Fitzpatrick, a sourcing recruiter at Cook Children's, recently took part in Morningside Elementary School’s Career Day. Alyson met the kindergarten class and talked with them about all the wonderful things we do at Cook Children’s.
