Kindergarten Club students spent time visiting our younger classrooms this week to practice their reading skills and share just how exciting PreK and Kindergarten Club can be! Students “read” Piggy and Gerald books, sounding out familiar letter sounds, describing the illustrations in their own words, and beginning to build confidence reading out loud to others. Our younger students loved listening to their big friends and seeing what they can look forward to as they grow. Experiences like this are so meaningful for young learners. When children read to one another, it helps build confidence, strengthens early literacy skills, and encourages language development. For our younger students, listening to peers read helps spark curiosity about books, models early reading behaviors, and creates positive connections with storytelling and learning. It was a special moment of leadership for our Kindergarten Club students and an inspiring glimpse into the exciting learning ahead for our younger classrooms! 📚✨ #buddyreading #prek #stepupdays #cadenceeducation

What a special day spent with our incredible team of educators! We took a deep dive into creating safe, nurturing, screen-free environments for our students. From “playing” with organic materials to breaking into age-specific trainings, the day was filled with meaningful learning and thoughtful dialogue. Not only did we gain insight from our trainers, but we also had powerful conversations among our center teachers — learning from one another and growing together. We were even honored with a special visit from our CEO, Leigh Ellen! Thank you to our families for allowing our Beekman team the time to learn and grow within their roles. Our Pre-K friends jumped right back into learning after the winter holidays and were ready to explore! Through fun activities like gluing, drawing, and early writing, the children strengthened their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and focus. Using pattern blocks and snowflake matching activities, they had a great time exploring shapes, symmetry, spatial awareness, and problem-solving while building important early math skills. Along the way, creativity, independence, and teamwork were on full display as friends worked and learned together. We love seeing their confidence grow as they create, discover, and learn through meaningful, play-based experiences each day! ❄️ #prekrocks #winterlearning #winterfun #preschool #learningthroughplay

💛 Giving Tuesday at Cadence Education 💛 Today, on Giving Tuesday, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the power of community and the impact we can make when we come together for a shared purpose. Earlier this month, our School Support Center hosted a St. Jude Trike-A-Thon and raised $38,000, a reflection of the generosity and heart within our home office team. These team members earned their spot by going above and beyond in our fundraising efforts, helping to make a real difference in the lives of children battling cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. We’re so proud of their dedication and honored to have them represent Creative Kids Childcare at this meaningful experience. From inspiring behind-the-scenes tours to meaningful conversations, the event was a powerful reminder of the importance of giving back—and why our partnership with St. Jude matters. We were especially proud to have one of our own Creative Kids Childcare team members sit on a panel to share their perspective and represent our organization.
