As Crowley Capt. Nick St. Jean notes, America’s maritime industry keeps essential goods like groceries, medical supplies and energy moving. Every day, mariners and logistics professionals power the supply chains that support our way of life – and we’re proud to see seafarers' work supported by our leaders.
We’re proud to share that Crowley Progress reached a major milestone on Sunday, June 15th, completing its 50th LNG bunker discharge. In under 10 months of operations, our crew has delivered over 340,000 m³ of LNG, all while standing up a brand-new operation in a new port. This achievement reflects Crowley’s core values: Safety: Zero lost-time incidents throughout these first 50 discharges Sustainability: Enabling cleaner marine fuel solutions for our customers Drive: Rapid ramp-up of a complex operation from day one A heartfelt thank you to the team whose resilience and determination have set the standard in LNG bunkering. Your commitment inspires us all.

Alongside Puerto Rico Governor Jenniffer González-Colón and our partners at Naturgy we celebrated a significant milestone - the operation of the American Energy, the first U.S.-flagged LNG carrier dedicated to delivering liquefied natural gas to Puerto Rico. With the capacity to transport up to 34.4 million gallons of LNG per voyage, American Energy can supply enough fuel to power approximately 80,000 homes for a year. Behind every voyage are our remarkable mariners who operate the vessel.
