👋 Welcoming Our New Team Members! Daifuku Intralogistics America is excited to announce that another large new hire class will begin at our Hobart Manufacturing Facility on Monday, September 22. We’re proud to welcome 16 new employees across a variety of roles, including: 🔹 Structural Supervisor 🔹 Welders 🔹 Paint Preppers 🔹 Fabricators 🔹 Material Handlers 🔹 Sales Order Pickers 🔹 Custodian Each new hire will participate in comprehensive training sessions focused on safety, quality, and role-specific skills to set them up for long-term success. Alec has joined our Project Engineering team as Project Engineer III, working out of Frederick, Maryland. With a strong background in product and system design for material handling and automation, he brings valuable experience and passion for innovation to our organization. Before joining Daifuku, Alec worked at a smaller conveyor company and often heard about Daifuku’s reputation as an industry leader. He was drawn to the opportunity for career growth, as well as the chance to contribute to new and innovative products. Outside of work, Alec enjoys cooking, playing golf, and watching sports. 🏌️‍♂️🍳🏈 We’re excited to have him on board and look forward to the impact he’ll make! In 2018, we laid the first plans for what seemed like a bold idea: expanding our Hobart, Indiana facility to meet the growing demand for automation across North America. Seven years later, that vision has become a reality. On October 2, 2025, we will officially celebrate the Grand Opening of our expanded Hobart facility, a project that adds 310,000 sq. ft. of new manufacturing and office space, bringing the total footprint to 634,000 sq. ft. But this expansion is about more than space. It’s about strengthening our ability to innovate, support our customers, and grow alongside the industries we serve. With 440 employees today and plans to add 350 more in the coming years, this facility reflects our long-term commitment to the North American market. Download our press release here:

🚀 Exciting things are happening at Daifuku Intralogistics America! On September 10–11, our Talent Acquisition team will come together in Bolingbrook, IL for the 2nd Annual Talent Acquisition Summit: “Data-Driven Recruitment: Using Metrics and Analytics to Inform Recruitment Decisions and Measure Success.” Launched last year by Carmelia Pearson, the Summit was designed to create dedicated space for collaboration, strategy, and innovation. This year, our focus is sharper than ever: analytics and metrics as drivers of smarter hiring. Day 1: Icebreakers, team discussions, a “Year in Review” of our performance, interactive activities, and webinar training. Day 2: Keynote by Brian Lund, Talent Acquisition Operations Lead at Argonne National Laboratory and former TA Manager at Daifuku Intralogistics America. His session, “Hiring Smarter with Data and AI – TA’s Digital Toolkit,” will inspire us to think boldly about the future of recruitment. We’ll also take time to celebrate wins with Kudos Korner and close the Summit with a meaningful team-building event: participating in the 9/11 Day Meal Packaging Event in Chicago.
