Lisa Dortch recently joined the team as a Warranty Coordinator. She began her career in the automotive industry, where she spent many years in warranty and administrative roles. Over the past eight years, she worked for an apparel wholesale company, supporting sales operations, customer programs, and reporting. She is excited to bring this experience back into the warranty field. Outside of work, Lisa is passionate about music and enjoys attending live shows whenever she can. Her daughter, who is almost 11, attends School of Rock, and one of Lisa’s favorite things is watching her perform and grow as a musician. Lisa is excited to be part of the team and looks forward to learning, growing, and contributing in her new role.

Meet Our Summer Intern! We’re excited to welcome back Brad Abbott for his second summer with Daifuku Intralogistics America, now serving as an SPL Content Analyst Intern! Bradley grew up in Illinois with his two younger brothers and is currently a rising senior at Tufts University in Boston. He is pursuing a degree in Data Science with a minor in AI Development, while also competing as a member of the Tufts varsity football team. With a strong interest in classification models, data analysis, automation, and machine learning techniques, Bradley brings both technical curiosity and practical experience to the team. Outside of work and academics, he enjoys fishing and exploring new foods something we can definitely get behind! We’re thrilled to have Bradley back with us this summer and look forward to the impact he’ll make.

This past Friday, Daifuku Intralogistics America celebrated Donuts Day across both the office and the plant, a small gesture to show appreciation for an incredible team. A sincere thank you goes out to everyone for the hard work, dedication, and consistency shown every day. The effort across all departments does not go unnoticed. It takes accountability, teamwork, and commitment to keep operations running smoothly and to consistently deliver for our customers. From supporting one another on the floor to ensuring projects stay on track, every contribution matters. This was a small token of appreciation for everything that goes into keeping things moving but it reflects a much bigger message: this team drives our success.

Our Hobart team recently kicked off a quarterly department competition, bringing together our manufacturing teams in a fun and engaging way. Each group selected a representative to compete in a bean-bag toss challenge with a pizza party on the line for the winning department. This broad experience has shaped a strong customer-first mindset and deep understanding of both operations and strategy. Today, he leads a wide range of customer-focused services including Parts, Warranty, Remote Support, Modernizations & Upgrades, Field Service, and Resident System Support ensuring customers receive the expertise and solutions needed to maximize system performance and longevity. Throughout his tenure, Tim has contributed significantly to the evolution of Daifuku’s aftermarket capabilities, strengthening customer partnerships and building high-performing teams focused on continuous improvement and value delivery.
