What are the main advantages of our STV? 👉 Daifuku's automated rail-guided sorting transfer vehicle is a pallet sorting system designed to provide high-throughput material handling in conjunction with Automated Storage and Retrieval System (AS/RS). ◻️ Vehicles are assigned to stations to maximize efficiency, avoiding unnecessary movement and energy consumption. ◻️ STV systems designed to expand along with your business. ◻️ STVs sort loads to different stations without complex conveyor intersections. ◻️ STV is traveling while the pallet remains stationary on top of it.

💡Have you heard about our world-first temporary storage and sortation system “SPDR”? A little bit of history... In 1957, Daifuku supplied Japan’s first chain conveyors for body transport to an automobile plant. Since then, #DaifukuTeam has achieved many results in almost all processes of automobile production. We have provided various solutions for improving productivity regarding parts handling in the lines and parts supply to the line side. However, systems for the reception and storage of parts from suppliers and timely retrieval according to production schedules often required human labor. 👉To improve such a situation, in December 2014, we developed and launched the SPDR (pronounced spider), a temporary storage and sortation system for parts.

👉 Since October 2021, the Daifuku Group has had a new management philosophy and corporate policies structure. President Geshiro explained the rationale behind the change: "The company creed "Hini Arata," which is at the center of the Daifuku Group, will remain. The management philosophy, on the other hand, is the Company's "thinking," and should be tailored to respond to changing needs and times. In response to the rapid changes in society in recent years and the demands of the times, the Company decided to revise the management philosophy in line with the new business plan, Value Innovation 2023, which commenced in April."
