Elsevier is happy to announce our partnership with Black Women in Science and Engineering (BWISE). BWISE was founded to support and empower underrepresented women through networking, mentorship and career development. Their mission is to bridge the leadership gap for Black Women in STEM. This partnership will provide opportunities to connect women in technical fields and allow them to share experiences, grow and gain exposure. Ultimately, our partnership with BWISE will help us to gain more representation of Black women in our workforce. Gaining more access to this untapped demographic of talent will ensure that our organization remains an employer of choice for candidates looking for a workplace committed to inclusion for all. We continue to need the engagement of people from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and ideas to achieve real innovation for our customers around the world and help us to inspire tomorrow’s great discoveries in science, research and healthcare. #discoverelsevier #elsevier #elsevierlife

From us at Elsevier, this is wishing everyone Happy #AdaLovelaceDay. A true pioneer for her time, Ada Lovelace recognised the potential of pattern-finding as a means of problem-solving, something we would today know as algorithms. At Elsevier, technology and innovation are key to our growth and competitive advantage. We have a number of talented women in STEM, they are our own modern-day Ada Lovelace. Join us to celebrate all of them too. #AdaLovelaceDay #WomenInSTEM #DiversityAwarenessMonth
