Before October ends, we’d like to show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🎗️ Did you know that although breast cancer can affect all genders, it is the most common cancer in women worldwide? Our colleagues from the US 🇺🇸 and Turkey 🇹🇷 are helping to spread more awareness about this disease by wearing PINK. Why is awareness so important? Because the best protection is early detection! ☑️ To increase your chance of detecting breast cancer early, here are 3 tips: 1️⃣ Perform a self-exam monthly by getting familiar with how your chest normally looks and feels. 2️⃣ Get an annual medical checkup. 3️⃣ Go for an annual mammogram if you are at risk. The National Cancer Institute recommends that women 40 years and older get a mammogram every year. Let’s remind ourselves and our loved ones to regularly follow these steps! 💪
