After learning about electricity at Boston Public Schools Madison Park Technical Vocational High School, Lamarie Slayton knew he wanted to become the first person in his family to pursue a career in the trade. “For me, with my personality, I have to do work that’s hands-on and active,” he said. As a Bunker Hill CC program intern, Lamarie's training with our team in overhead and underground electrical line work and gas operations—and he's looking forward to serving his neighbors. “I’m big on community. I like helping people.”

Why do thousands of arborists come together at veterans memorials and cemeteries across the country every year? They do it for a day of service, as Bob Allen, our Manager of Vegetation Management says in this video, where “we unite, we volunteer, and we honor.” “Saluting Branches is a wonderful opportunity to put our core values of environmental sustainability and giving back to our communities into action, helping to maintain the natural beauty of cherished sites for our veterans, service members, and their families.” We’re proud to support #SalutingBranches. 🌳🇺🇸🌲
