We are proud that our own Mariya Saleh has been recognized as a #120under40 family planning leader. With our team in Nigeria, Mariya has led task shifting policy change efforts for previously under-utilized health worker cadres, implemented integration of family planning into HIV programs, and come up with new ways in which to deliver family planning to women and girls displaced due to the Boko Haram insurgency. She plans to use the platform of the 120 Under 40 competition to increase acceptance of family planning among youth through social media.
