Wind farms are more than turbines on the horizon — they’re entire power networks. Before a single kilowatt can reach the grid, miles of underground collection lines must be laid out with precision to ensure safety, efficiency, and long-term reliability in a way that reduces or eliminates impacts to potentially sensitive resources. Here, Fisher Associates Surveyor Dominic Tronetti is staking those collection line routes so construction crews can build with confidence. Getting this step right reduces costly rework, keeps schedules on track, and protects the performance of the system for decades to come. At Fisher, our Survey Group goes beyond marking lines on the ground — we deliver the accuracy, foresight, and collaboration developers and EPC partners rely on to turn renewable energy vision into reality.
As summer came to a close, our offices gathered together for a Summer Sendoff Cookout, hosted by the Fisher Fun Committee. It was the perfect way to celebrate a successful season – filled with good food, great company, and plenty of laughs. A big thank you to everyone who helped make it happen. Here's to more celebrations, more collaboration, and more fun along the way. Interested in being part of the team? Apply today at fisherassoc.com/careers.
As summer winds down, we’re reflecting on the moments that made this season memorable, from professional conferences to team golf outings across Fisher Associates. Whether sharing insights at industry events or connecting with colleagues on the green, these experiences strengthened relationships, sparked fresh ideas, and reminded us of the value of coming together to celebrate our work. These moments go beyond the events themselves. They reflect our culture of collaboration, connection, and growth — values that make Fisher a great place to work. If you’re looking for a workplace where community and professional engagement matter as much as the projects we deliver, apply today at fisherassoc.com/careers.
This past quarter, Fisher Associates’ Community Impact Committee put our passion into action by addressing both food insecurity and environmental stewardship in the communities we call home. In Buffalo, our team partnered with the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation at Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve to protect local ecosystems. Volunteers removed invasive species such as Stilt Grass and Phragmites, helping restore balance and preserve the health of this important natural resource. In Pennsylvania, we joined the United Way’s Day of Caring at City Mission in Washington, PA. Our team served lunch to individuals experiencing homelessness and the broader community, while also deep-cleaning chapel chairs used daily for classes and events. Their efforts supported City Mission’s commitment to provide shelter, meals, and essential care for neighbors in need. At Fisher, we believe our greatest impact goes beyond the projects we design – it lies in creating a lasting legacy of improved quality of life. By giving back to our communities, we not only strengthen the places where we live and work, but also reaffirm our commitment to building a better tomorrow.
Driving renewable progress, one turbine at a time! Here’s a glimpse of Senior Engineer, Lisa Oliver, P.E., on-site overseeing construction so this wind project runs seamlessly. At Fisher, our engineers bring projects full circle – from concept through construction – providing the continuity that keeps work on track and delivers reliable renewable energy. Lisa is one of many skilled engineers at Fisher whose field expertise helps bring our wind projects to life. Together, our team’s leadership ensures we deliver clean, dependable power while staying aligned with our clients’ goals every step of the way.

At Fisher, we believe meaningful change begins with people who care — and our Community Impact Committee (CIC) helps bring that belief to life by organizing volunteer opportunities across the regions we serve. While the CIC coordinates the events, all employees are welcome and encouraged to participate, helping us strengthen our communities through hands-on service and heartfelt collaboration.
