There is one swimmer I taught as their first session with us that I recall very well. He was around 1.5/2 years and would cry week after week when entering the water with their parent. Around week 5, the tears began to turn into laughs, and he was slowly beginning to like the water. Fast forward to the end of Spring 2024 session, the family informed us how well he picked up on his safety skills, and how beyond grateful they were for our classes. Meet Sabrina – FOSS General Manager My journey at Foss Swim School has been nothing short of transformative. Beginning as a swim teacher at Elmwood Park in 2018, I believed in an environment where every team member feels valued and empowered to contribute their unique talents. Over the years, I embraced increasing responsibilities and challenges, eventually assuming the role of General Manager at our Niles location. Leading a team committed to excellence in loving water and safety has been incredibly rewarding. Together, we've cultivated a supportive community where both staff and swimmers thrive. My time here has not only deepened my passion for teaching but also honed my skills in leadership and organizational management. I am grateful for the opportunities and growth Foss Swim School has provided me, shaping me into the leader I am today.
