It’s #DrinkingWaterWeek, and we’re honoring water professionals, like Nita Kazi, PE, who work hard every day to ensure your water is #ThereWhenYouNeedIt. Nita is committed to supporting local agencies in California with the development of water projects—from conveyance and related facilities to pump stations. Because the state is drought conscious, she has also assisted with water reuse programs and groundwater basin projects to develop reliable, alternate sources of water for California residents. We asked Nita a few questions to get to know her. Check it out!

Our chief technology officer, Kevin Switala, GISP, is facing the great technical challenges of our time with unparalleled energy and strategic insight. That, paired with his passion for employee development and community involvement, is why his peers recognized him with the CIO of the Year® ORBIE® Award in the corporate category for organizations with up to $500 million in annual revenue. In under two years, Kevin and his team have transformed information technology into a driving force in our efforts to win new work and penetrate new markets all while ensuring our day-to-day operations continue to thrive.
