Giant Eagle recently introduced the Waste to Animal Feed Program at 20 of our Cleveland-area supermarkets to help eliminate food waste. In partnership with Organix Recycling, we have diverted more than 350,000 pounds of select bakery, dairy and deli waste that cannot be sold or donated to be used as a cattle feed supplement.
