Global Atlantic Financial Group is supporting its communities in the fight against food insecurity related to the #COVID19 pandemic, including the Food Bank of NYC, Project Bread in Boston, and the Des Moines Area Religious Council Food Pantry Network. Global Atlantic employees will allocate an additional $400,000 in company gifts to support those needing a safe place in these times, such as local homeless shelters and domestic violence organizations. In all, it has set aside $1 million to support its communities this year, through direct contributions & its employee matching gift program. To support its employees, it is offering an additional two weeks paid time off to help them manage the burdens & challenges of the current environment. In addition, employees at most levels of the company received a $100 stipend to help support the need to work at home.
