Great Hearts Arizona is excited to announce that nine of our seniors have been named National Merit Finalists. These high-achieving seniors from Arete Prep, Chandler Prep, North Phoenix Prep, Scottsdale Prep, and Veritas Prep earned a high score on the PSAT and met other program requirements, placing them among approximately 15,000 of the most academically promising students in the nation.

The love of the language arts was celebrated at the annual Great Hearts Bard finalists competition. 12 finalists, ranging from grades 3rd through 5th, recited poetry on stage in front of their families, friends, faculty, and a panel of judges. Ultimately, it was fourth grader Lia McArthur from Archway Chandler, who was named the 2025 Bard.
