As Hurricane Helene left devastation across communities in the South, a team from Arizona, including Safety Resource Officer (SRO) Drew from Great Hearts Roosevelt, responded to the urgent needs of affected communities and they are now in Florida helping with evacuation efforts before Hurricane Milton hits. Join Great Hearts as our thoughts are with the victims, their families, the first responders, and the brave volunteers like Officer Drew, who are working tirelessly to ensure the safety of those in harm’s way.

Angela Paula Apolonio is currently working as an Exceptional Student Services (ESS) Coordinator at Archway Scottsdale through a cultural exchange program. Originally from the Philippines, she is teaching in the U.S. on a J-1 Visa, which provides foreign nationals like her the opportunity to participate in educational and cultural programs.

The Theater Program at Scottsdale Prep is celebrating a milestone this year with its 10th anniversary, and the star of the season is none other than the musical classic, “The Wizard of Oz.” The cast and crew have worked tirelessly to prepare for the performances which premiered on October 3rd, but there's still two chances to see it on stage - October 4th at 7:00 PM and a matinee performance on October 5th at 2:00 PM at Scottsdale Prep’s Performing Arts Theater.
