It was a night to remember when 800+ students, parents, and fans packed the stands for first home football game at Glendale Prep. The Griffins kicked off the season in spectacular fashion, notching a 69-0 win against the Greyhills Academy Knights. But the game was only part of the story. From thrilling touchdowns to a surprise helicopter candy drop, Glendale Prep’s opening home game had it all.

Great Hearts Academies is excited to share the record-setting achievements of its May 2024 graduating class in Arizona. These seniors were offered over $51.2 million in merit-based scholarships, an impressive amount for the combined senior class of 584 great hearted scholars. And of those 584 graduates, 97% have chosen to immediately continue their education by enrolling in colleges and universities across the nation.

This hands-on activity is a perfect example of how we at Great Hearts brings the wonder of science to life. Constitution Day commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution by thirty-nine brave men on September 17, 1787. The Great Hearts Institute has invited Andrew Porwancher from Arizona State University (ASU) to deliver our inaugural Constitution Day Address, titled “The Constitution: Hidden Truths and Enduring Myths,” on September 18 at 5:30 p.m.* in the Lund Center at Veritas Preparatory Academy. This free event is open to the public and is generously supported by the Jack Miller Center.
