SQ4D developed a patent-pending technology to allow multiple machines to work together to create a 3D printed home. New York Institute of Technology will be hosting Women in Engineering and Technology Day on May 1st. The day will include virtual workshops and speakers discussing the challenges and opportunities that exist in STEM for women. As part of the day's virtual events, NYIT will be holding a panel discussion moderated by H2M architects + engineers' President and CEO, Rich Humann, an NYIT alumni. This panel will include female executives from various technology companies on Long Island. Kevin is a Department Manager at H2M architects + engineers within the Environmental Discipline. Kevin is responsible for the day to day operations of his team of engineers and scientists. When asked what he loves most about his role, he says "Without question, it's mentoring and development of staff. There are so many roles for our people, and a lot of paths they can take. Today is World Autism Awareness Day and April is World Autism Month, representing an excellent opportunity to promote autism awareness, autism acceptance and to draw attention to the tens of thousands facing an autism diagnosis each year. The ELIJA School is a not-for-profit, 501c(3) organization serving parents, educators, professionals, and caregivers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) on Long Island, New York. H2M’s Erik Heuler, R.A., LEED AP BD+C was featured in Long Island Business News “Who’s Who in Sustainability.” Heuler is a Project Architect and and a key player on H2M architects + engineers' Sustainability Committee.
