The staff at Henderson Hospital recently celebrated CEO Sam Kaufman’s birthday! Leadership asked each department to create artwork out of pipe cleaners, and the winner was Surgical Services, and the Runner-up was ICU! Our facilities team also created a special bulldozer cart for Sam to make rounds on floors and give out cupcakes. What a fun celebration! #LifeAtVHS

#LifeAtVHS just keeps getting better! We're excited to celebrate the opening of Henderson Hospital's new observation nursing unit. This unit is for patients who need additional evaluations for a specific medical condition or diagnosis before they are either discharged or admitted to the hospital. Included in the construction was the completion of a much larger emergency department lobby to better address the increased volume of patients; eight new ER rapid medical exam/triage rooms; the addition of a second CT scan; and three shelled-out operating rooms for future use.
