This past week, Hightower hosted its annual Accelerator Growth Retreat at The Montage in Laguna Beach, California. This retreat hosts a managing partner from each of Hightower’s 20 highest-growth teams of 2024. Designed with the idea of leveraging the power of peer-to-peer sharing, this event featured discussions on best practices for growth, leadership and business management and also included a ton of fun local activities!
It’s been an exciting week at Hightower’s corporate office in Chicago! On Wednesday, the Growth team welcomed Colleen Dwyer, CFP®, Senior Advisor and CFP at Private Vista LLC, for a Lunch and Learn session on behavioral finance. Colleen discussed how emotions influence investing, shared strategies for managing clients during volatile markets, and provided insights on her career journey. Meanwhile, staff members had a blast giving our brand new ice cream machine a whirl. With a variety of flavors, including both dairy and non-dairy options, and toppings like whipped cream and syrup, it was a sweet treat for everyone!

This month at our corporate office in Chicago, we’ve been busy focusing on professional development and welcoming our new hires! Earlier this month, our Chief Growth Officer, Scott Holsopple, hosted our Executive Leadership Series, sharing valuable insights with participants from the Managing at Hightower and Leading at Hightower programs. Yesterday, we welcomed our newest team members with a fantastic New Hire Celebration, where employees enjoyed a complimentary lunch and had the opportunity to network and connect with each other.
