We are excited to announce that we're expanding our footprint in Tampa, FL! Pointe Grand Interbay at Tampa is expected to open in 2027 and we couldn't be more excited to be the first amended site to be built under Florida's Live Local Act. The Live Local Act is a comprehensive, attainable housing strategy that uses zoning preemptions, tax incentives and substantial funding to spur the development of attainable housing. Today, we're honored to share as story that reminds us why community matters. Back in March, one of our co-founders, Kelly Mahoney, came across a video from one of our Pointe Grand residents and we knew we wanted to help. After spending the past several years fighting cancer, Andrea Zeledon is finally turning the page and taking her life back. Ready to rebuild her life, Andrea found a fresh start in one of our communities in South Carolina. Through our Hillpointe Helps initiative, we had the privilege of surprising Andrea with one full year of free rent, giving her the opportunity to focus on healing, stability and to focus on what matters most. Andrea describes herself as a "cancer thriver" and spending time with her was a powerful reminder that what we build here at Hillpointe goes far beyond apartment homes. We are building strong communities that are making a meaningful impact in our residents' lives.
