As we celebrate Women in Construction Week, we’re taking a moment to highlight one of the women helping bring our communities to life at Hillpointe. Meet Ashley Hernandez, Project Manager. Ashley was drawn to construction because it is one of the few industries where you can see the impact of your work every day. “There’s something incredibly satisfying about watching a project rise from the ground up and knowing you helped make it happen.” One of her proudest moments came when she walked Pointe Grand Covington for the first time and saw families moving in. “It’s one thing to finish a project on time. It’s another to see people building their lives in something you helped create. That’s when the work feels bigger than just construction.” Ashley also points out that construction requires far more than people often assume. It takes strategic planning, leadership, communication, and constant coordination. You always have to plan for the unexpected.” Her advice to women considering the industry is simple. “Go for it confidently. Construction needs diverse perspectives and strong leaders.” For Ashley, building communities at Hillpointe means something bigger than structures. “It’s about creating places where people feel at home. After the sleepless nights and early mornings, it’s worth it to be part of building these communities.” #WomenInConstruction #Hillpointe #OneHillpointe #WICWeek
