Intermountain’s investment in caregiver and leader development and careers has been recognized with the prestigious Associate for Talent Development global recognition, the BEST Award. The BEST Award is for “organizations that demonstrate enterprise-wide success as a result of employee talent development.” Intermountain’s HR Learning Center of Excellence in collaboration with Clinical Education, the Simulation Center, the Equity Office, Talent Acquisition, and AskHR lead shared strategies that stood out from other applicants. The approach moves away from simply delivering education to a strategy of enabling caregivers to create their own learning and career pathways. By working together, these teams are able to provide unique programs and opportunities to help caregivers and leaders achieve their goals. At the same time, the teams ensure that the workforce is equipped with the skills for today and are prepared for the future.
