📢 HIF Global has chosen JM's CO2-to-methanol technology for its first US sustainable aviation fuel (#SAF) facility At the site, HIF intends to produce around 11,000 barrels per day of SAF by 2030, decarbonising around 12 billion air passenger miles per year ✈️ JM's technology will combine electrolytic #hydrogen with recycled carbon dioxide to produce methanol. This methanol will then be upgraded into SAF using Honeywell technology. Alberto Giovanzana, JM's Chief Commercial Officer of Catalyst Technologies, said: “We're very excited to be collaborating again with HIF in this leading eFuels project. JM’s sustained innovation on methanol process and catalyst technology is allowing us to move at scale and pace in one of the routes to SAF that is #catalysingnetzero."
