When tasked with challenging projects, our teams develop #innovative solutions. Thinking back to when our EPA team was tasked with replacing the cooling towers for One South Broad that sat on a reinforced structural platform 400 feet above one of Philadelphia's busiest city streets. The solution to the challenge was prefabricating the structural steel and necessary piping and using a helicopter to set the structural steel and 7,000 lbs cooling tower sections into place on top of the 25-story building.
