Recently, students and faculty from Clark Atlanta University visited our Macy’s Herald Square flagship for an intensive development workshop hosted by executives and colleagues. The workshop was part of a $100k grant from Macy’s Future of Style Fund, helping to accelerate diverse representation and a talent pipeline of future leaders. Clark Atlanta University’s Art and Fashion Department will use this critical funding to provide deserving students with scholarships, produce the department’s annual Fashion Week event and purchase new technology equipment. #MissionEveryOne

Last year, Macy’s teamed up with The Kasper Group to launch the Divine Nine Sorority Collection to honor historically Black-founded Sororities. Identified by Macy’s buyer and Divine Nine Sorority member, WyQuasia King, the vision was to help members find styles in their signature colors to wear at various Sorority functions and events all year long. To celebrate the collection, Macy's donated $1 million to various education and research foundations of “The Divine Nine” Sororities, including those of Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta and Sigma Gamma Rho. #MissionEveryOne
