On October 15, the Texas-based members of the South-West Regional Safety Leadership Team (RSLT)—Danny Phillips, Jackie Gilcrease, John Cannon, Lauren Holland, Revvie Green and Sharath Acharya—traveled to Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater, Texas for a subcontractor appreciation event and jobsite safety walk. The team began the day by bringing breakfast to every subcontractor on site as a way of thanking them for working safely. During the morning safety meeting, each RSLT member expressed gratitude for the commitment to safety each worker brings. Nice work team!

Engineering takes many forms at McKinstry. Rebecca Fitzsimmons is a Project Engineer in our Portland office, with a background in Architecture (not specifically engineering). We asked what one piece of advice she would give to future engineers or designers. "Be flexible and adaptable. Did you know that we have office in both San Diego and Oakland? Among their most recent energy projects are efficiency solutions across Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), UCLA, Caltech and Glendale Community College (GCC).
