So, while we’ll be gratefully looking back over the upcoming 12mths; celebrating the people that made us who we are, and our key milestones - our focus remains firmly on the future. Our ambition is bigger than ever. As we strengthen our partnerships with healthcare practitioners and increase our reach to even more people. On International Women’s Day recently, we paused to acknowledge and honor the incredible women who shape our world. With a broad range of products scientifically designed to support women’s well-being at every life stage - we’re passionate about understanding women and the health challenges they face every day! There are no words or even a 30-second reel that can capture the deep appreciation that we have for our Metagenics team members. While today is #EmployeeAppreciationDay, we have been rolling out the red carpet for our people all week long, because our gratitude for them runs DEEP and we wanted to show it in a special way. Having just wrapped up an all-company virtual Employee Appreciation Celebration on Teams, where we had over 160 people call in, including our frontline workers from the warehouses, so they could hear first-hand from our leadership team just how much they make a massive impact on our businesses... we are all energized and humbled at the same time. We cannot emphasize this enough: while our mission of helping our patient-customers live a happier, healthier life through our products and solutions is our north star, there is no doubt in our minds that this mission can't be achieved without each person in this organization. Today, as we wrap up our Employee Appreciation Week activities and close out what was one of the best weeks for us as a business and leadership team, we just want to say once again, THANK YOU to #TeamMetagenics across the globe for all that you do to help us serve our customers.

A quick snap of our 2nd Quarter MetaStar Recipient (Cody) after this week's town hall update at our HQ in Aliso Viejo, California. Cody was recognized by his peers last quarter for many reasons, but what stood out the most is his ability as a videographer (storyteller) to bring out the absolute best in people which allows them to shine and share their story in the most authentic way. We have many recognition programs here at Metagenics that happen throughout the year, from peer-to-peer recognition opportunities to quarterly rewards programs, safety awards, employee of the year awards, annual achievement awards, and monthly career anniversaries, all of which are intentionally tied to our core values. For most of our programs, we've partnered with our friends at Blueboard to create customized experiential rewards that encourage our team members to disconnect from work, reset, and recharge.

A couple of years ago we were inspired by our people and their commitment to the community to give our team members two Volunteer Time Off days each year to take time off on us, to volunteer for a non-profit organization of their choice. Our North American People & Culture team that's based in our Aliso Viejo Headquarters did that for Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County yesterday and had a blast doing so! We are lining up a few more group volunteer days for team members in Gig Harbor and Aliso Viejo to take place before the end of the summer and look forward to sharing the organizations that we will be partnering with! We've also got a list going for team members across North America to look into when they are ready to use a VTO day!

And just like that, our fall Bowling League has come to an end! Each year for the last few years, one of our most senior leaders in finance at our Aliso Viejo headquarters hosts a fall bowling league, where folks from the can meet up once a week in the evening to bowl, mix, and mingle with team members. This has been such a great forum to help welcome newer team members to Metagenics and has become another opportunity that folks look forward to, to create community outside of the office. In addition to the almost monthly events that our Team Thrive employee experience team creates throughout the year, it's awesome when there are also employee-driven events that make the same impact in driving engagement among team members.
