NICErs from our Sandy office recently enjoyed some R&R time while soaking up the warm Utah sun. Members of our Finance, Legal, Procurement and IT teams enjoyed spending time together partaking in some friendly competition as they showed off their strategic and analytical skills with over-sized games. An afternoon of great entertainment and laughs!
NICE GTC in Pune, India has welcomed some 60 new NICErs as part of its Campus Hire Program! These recent tech graduates from local engineering institutions started their NICE careers in various roles from Engineering and Tech Support to Corporate Services. In these early days, they are undergoing an induction program and meeting with various NICE leaders. Exploring NICE’s unmatched technology platforms and applications, their transition from college to corporate life is set to be an extraordinary journey!
Keeping with our focus on NICErs’ health and wellbeing, our London office proved that they are always keen for some fitness and laughs! NICErs from across the business hit the streets for the London leg of the world’s largest corporate run – the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge, bringing thousands of people together while raising funds for youth homelessness. After our NICErs completed the race, the team celebrated the perfect combination of fitness, friendly competition, and fun!
NICE Israel opened its doors to an excited group of junior NICErs who will be starting first grade after the summer holiday. CEO Barak Eilam joined the beaming youngsters to celebrate this significant stage in their lives. After loading up on treats and fun activities, the children and their parents enjoyed an interactive kids’ chemistry show that had them all laughing and cheering. Getting the kids prepped and revved up for the start of school, NICE gifted them with colorful new school bags. Additionally, NICErs supported their local community by donating school bags and supplies to underprivileged children. Good luck to our first graders, the world awaits you with open arms!
NICErs are driven, competitive individuals that always bring their A game – not just at work but during play time too! Over 400 NICErs from GTC India showed off their individual skills and teamwork for a title win in a fun yet competitive 3-day Table Tennis Tournament. Players competed in Singles and Doubles categories, and the action had both participants and spectators immersed and cheering. GTC’S Sports Committee puts on an array of crowd-pleasing sports activities throughout the year, including cricket and badminton tournaments, so stay tuned for the next nail-biter!
Our NICErs across the globe place great value in actively giving back to their communities. NICE Israel recently hosted a Kids’ Book Week event. Hundreds of NICErs donated pre-loved books which were sold at the office to raise funds for a local non-profit organization that supports at-risk youth. To encourage a love of reading from a young age, preschoolers and elementary students from frameworks for disadvantaged youth visited the NICE office throughout Kids’ Book Week. Along with exciting book readings, they enjoyed fun-filled days of arts & crafts and a pizza-making workshop! Our NICErs loved spending educational and entertaining time with the kids – who all went home smiling with a new school bag for the year ahead, and a box full of goodies.
No matter where you look today, it’s all about AI! And NICE Israel was honored to host the 2023 AI Data Science Summit – this year entitled ‘The AI & Generative AI Summit’. The event brings together hundreds of researchers, data scientists and developers from industry and academia to discuss Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Data Science and more. There were 20 talks from leading experts and researchers in these fields, including four NICErs sharing their AI expertise.
Raising the bar each year, our IT teams across the globe participated in the 3rd annual NICE IT Hackathon! 24 teams presented their groundbreaking ideas in automation, digital transformation, cloud enablement, operational excellence and more! A real celebration of collaboration, this year the IT Hackathon expanded to include additional teams from our Corporate Services division who joined in on the fun and thrilling challenge, to brainstorm even more innovative ideas. *The IT Hackathon is held in memory of Durga Panda, our beloved colleague who succumbed to COVID-19*
Summer is well and truly here as software developers, architects, UI front end developers, and scrum masters from our Vertical Markets division in Pune enjoyed a relaxing day off to connect and bond. Our Public Safety team (which focuses on delivering digital transformations for criminal justice agencies) and our Compliance team (which enables leading banks and investment firms to confidently comply with global financial regulations) let their hair down and enjoyed a fun-filled getaway of water activities, dancing, games, and lots of laughs!
