NAL practices its corporate social responsibility by reclaiming over 1,350 tons of concrete destined for a landfill. “This project demonstrates the type of progressive thinking NAL supports to reduce its environmental impact. We are so proud of the impact NAL employees made in our communities last week during the Honda Week of Service! Our facilities hosted multiple food drives, volunteered at an animal shelter, organized a community clean up, served free meals to children and played with them at a local park, painted playground equipment and park shelters, plus helped with landscaping and baling hay at a farm that offers educational camps and events. NAL is grateful for the opportunity to give back to our communities and continues to look for ways to get involved where we live and work. #TeamHondaCares

NAL was presented with Superior and Excellent awards from Toyota Motor North America, Inc. (TMNA) on March 20, 2018 for its launches in 2017. Each year, TMNA recognizes suppliers who exceed the company’s expectations in several categories at its Annual Supplier Business Meeting (ABM) in Detroit with over 850 supplier representatives from across North America. NAL’s Forward Lighting Plant in Flora, IL was recognized with a Superior Launch Performance award. The company’s Signal Lighting Plant in Salem, IL was also recognized with an Excellent Launch Performance award.

NAL is seeking 5 high school graduates to participate in the ICATT sponsored NAL Technical Apprenticeship program that will help students kick-start their career without college debt. Apprentices will earn a salary and work towards industry specific certifications while completing an associate’s degree at a partnered college, with no out of pocket cost to students that successfully complete the program.
