PIH Health hosted Sidewalk CPR on Thursday, June 6th at both Whittier and Downey hospital campuses. The free “Hands-Only” CPR training event hosted 172 attendees including staff members (clinical and non-clinical), community members and patients. “Performing bystander CPR [minute CPR] is something that every person can do so they are prepared to help someone in their time of need,” says Carole Snyder RN, director of Emergency Preparedness. “It is a time for the community to come together and learn an easy yet effective way to save someone’s life—that, to me is the ultimate reward.” Learn more here: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMFRk
