Phoenix Children’s Hospital – Arrowhead Campus is now open! Families in the West Valley now have more convenient access to top-ranked pediatric healthcare. Our new state-of-the-art, 175,000 sq. ft. children’s hospital offers a wide range of world-class services, including inpatient care, a 24/7 emergency department, surgical care, an onsite laboratory and advanced imaging services. Our new campus will provide care for up to 72,000 patients annually — bringing 400+ jobs to the community.

Phoenix Children’s earned the Platinum Award from the 2024 Healthy Arizona Worksites Program (HAWP) — their highest ranking — for our commitment to implementing comprehensive workforce wellness programs and promoting overall health and wellness across our communities. Expanding on her long and successful career as an emergency department physician at Phoenix Children’s, Dr. Kopal Seth has taken on additional responsibilities and now serves as our associate chief medical information officer (CMIO). In her new role, she collaborates with our clinical IT team and leadership to ensure our technological systems continue meeting the needs of our care team across our expanding pediatric health system.

On July 26, 2024, our healthcare team celebrated the first anniversary since the opening of Phoenix Children’s Emergency Department — Avondale Campus. Dr. Christina Conrad, the location's medical director, shared, “It has been amazing to see the teamwork, communication, caring and compassion our care team has for patient families. In our first year alone, we provided pediatric-specific emergency care to more than 45,000 patient families and earned numerous awards and recognitions.” We are honored to continue meeting patient families’ emergent care needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Less than 3 years after we broke ground, Phoenix Children’s leadership, clinicians, dignitaries, business partners, patient families and other supporters came together for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the completion of Phoenix Children’s Hospital — Arrowhead Campus! Scheduled to officially open in August 2024, this 175,000 sq. ft., 3-story pediatric hospital will offer families in the Northwest Valley more convenient access to a broader range of world-class pediatric healthcare, including surgical services, diagnostic imaging and round-the-clock emergency care. Our newest campus is designed to support 72,000 patients annually and brings 400+ career opportunities to the Northwest Valley.
