Phoenix Childrenโs clinicians, alongside colleagues from United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona and families impacted by Cerebral Palsy, joined Representative Stephanie Simacek at the Arizona State Capitol to commemorated the official proclamation recognizing Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day on March 25. This proclamation plays a vital role in raising awareness and highlighting the importance of early CP detection, ensuring children receive timely care that can significantly enhance their quality of life. Phoenix Childrenโs Center for Heart Care had an impactful presence at Cardiology 2025, the 28th Annual Update on Pediatric & Congenital Cardiovascular Disease held in Orlando, FL. Cardiology faculty, fellows and residents presented research findings and networked with other congenital cardiology experts. The team also attended a lecture by Dr. Daniel Velez, a renowned cardiothoracic surgeon and co-director of our Center for Heart Care.
